Rinjapine Redux: Rin, the Ninja-Fighting Porcupine

So. This.

A long time ago (2004), on a site far far away, 'Rinjapine' was born, of a crazy RP with a long-gone friend I met online. We were going berserk as we normally did, and while I cannot remember what he dreamed up for himself, I became Rin: Ninja-Fighting Porcupine. That got too long to keep saying, so I smashed it all into one word, like crazy kids do for OTPs. (RIN)nin(JA)porcu(PINE). Rinjapine. That's how that was born. And how my very first 'sona ever came to be. She's nothing fancy. No super styling color scheme, no rocking hairstyle, no class. She was just a porcupine with a red ninja headband, a nunchaku, and a bo (not pictured), and her mission was to fight and beat the ever living crap out of ninjas. Why? That is lost to the obscurity of time, but it had to do with the epic 'battles' me and FriendX used to have with one another. Destroying the internets, yo... destroying the internets. 

Rinja stayed my avatar for a long while, until I started being on dA and doing the things I was doing, which is when Rinja got turned magically into a different species. With spiky, porcupine-reminiscent hair. And Rinjapine got put aside and left to molder. Which is sad. And yet, she is the true Rinja. Because she IS Rinja -- the whole reason the name even exists. But now? With this account now a dead blank... well, who should step in once again into her rightful place as THIS account's 'sona? THE REAL RINJA, OF COURSE. I kept her looks, and even stuck with the colors. I thought about changing them up some, spicing the program, but then it wouldn't be Rinja, now would it? It would be a name-thieving OTHER porcupine, and Rinja has been shafted enough. It's her time to shine again.

Because the name? It means a lot to me. It's why this account was never simply DELETED. That name is special, and I adore it, even now. But does that mean the Rinja you know is back in business? No -- because this isn't the same story anymore, it's a porcupine's. A porcupine named Rin. Who fought ninjas.
