DevaiKecha is the only lioness willing to stand up to Zira, and for that she is punished by being Chaka's guard, out of sight deep within the termite mounds of the Outlands. She comes to regard Chaka as her son, and he loves her like a mother. Kecha could never have cubs (she's physically unable to), so Chaka is her last and only chance to ever experience motherhood. She chooses to fight for -- and eventually die for -- him at the paws of the hyenas.

This lioness is created entirely by me -- she does not appear in Simba's Pride. She has a specific purpose, and then she dies. She is around the same age as Kula and Chumvi, and is so despised she HAS no rank within the pride.
