Kopa is the eldest child of King Simba and Queen Nala. He is a creature of emotion, and as such, is can beome overcome by his feelings -- the guilt that cripples; the love that conquers; the sorrow that breaks. Everything he feels, he feels deeply and passionately. But he also has the greatest heart of any of the Lion Kings, for he can forgive what many cannot, and see worth in even the most tainted if souls. He is willing to give every animal a chance to prove itself, and never judges based on first impressions.
