Lôra is the single cub born of a union between a normal Free pridesister and a reddish male, and her birth is celebrated across the kingdom as a sign of the great Lion-In-The-Sky's (aka Great Spirit) favor upon them all. The High Priestess of the time, Mkuhani, decides that to further encourage good things to come their way, they will gift the child to the Holy Spirit Pride, as a Betrothed to their Crown Prince, Roruyati. The Spirit Pride greatly welcomes this new white blood into their ranks, and the cub grows up among them into a fine flower of a lioness.

The nest part is Luna's tale for her:
"For many years Lôra lived a fairy tale existance with her beloved mate, but it all came crashing down when he died. She was devastated for years to come and often had nightmares of others she loved passing away. So her world became even darker when she was brought to her butchered son and mutilated daughetr. But her darkened world opened her eyes to something: when Sephadi spoke she heard him for what he was... she saw through his words to the lies beneath and would make him burn when the time came.

It took years of waiting but she got her chance when Prince Vunja was sent out to the PrideLands. She told the Prince both a truth and a lie, telling Vunja that if he came home victorious on the field of battle with the ragged PrideLands he would be made King -- but he could only do that by being on the lines with the Hyena, in full view of the enemy, to prove he was brave enough to rule the white lions."

Vunja is captured and held hostage against further 'misbehavior' from their pride, and Sephadi commits suicide when it is apparent his idiot son will be King rather than the smarter one. Lôra smiles to herself, smug in the knowledge that she took Sephadi's son and life, just as he took her husband's and son's.

Justice was at last served.

As and aside, High Priestess Mkuhani decides that Sho, Lôra's daddy, having fathered a white lioness, is good enough to breed HER, too, and so she steals him away from Yimalini. THE BITCH.

Lôra was designed for me by LunaSheWolf. I changed her from half-Clifflander to a Free-born. ^^ It took me a long time to get to her, and for that, I apologize :S
