Born to Chumvi and Kula during their self-imposed exile to the Outlands, Amani is a gentle child who loves his parents very much. When Zira and her pride arrive, they murder Chumvi and Kula and take Amani as the "Chosen One" due to his pelt coloration and green eyes. His name is then changed to 'Kovu' and he is trained to be a killer by Zira. His rigid upbringing and the cruelty of the Outlands are a stark contrast to his experiences in the Pridelands, and they --coupled with doubts fueled by Nuka -- make him susceptible to Kiara's charms. She is not ruled by pain and hunger or thirst for revenge -- she is a pure innocent, and Kovu finds this to be strangely compelling. And while that attraction can tame the darkness within him for a time, it cannot stop it forever.

I gave Amani/Kovu the same body as the picture I did for an art trade. I liked that body (ORIGINAL). I also added the new "TLK Movie Colors" I devised for him. I like them a LOT better. So haters, shhh!

People have wondered how Kovu/Amani could look like Scar/Taka when they have no blood relation. But I took a little look into it, though it took a bit of time. Kovu's pelt color comes from his paternal grandmother, Badriya. His mane is from his father, Chumvi, though a tad darker. And his eyes, also a trait from Badriya. Though I doubt this info would have stopped Zira from taking him from his parents. May they rest in peace

Poor Kovo, so his real name is Amani then huh? I had no idea he had two mates, althoguh I really love him-one of my favorite characters

I'd like to get your take on this theory of mine:
What if the mask Kovu was wearing was for Zira? I have this idea that he never forgets his mother, clings to her teachings even as Zira trains him. He hates Simba at one point, and yes he wanted to kill him... just not for Zira. He believes Simba should have saved him and wanted vengence for that.
So if that was true, would it make his flipping to good make sense? I mean, if he never really believed Zira at all? He seems scared of her more than anything.
Oh, and just in SP, what would you say Kovu's greatest strength and weakness were? Thanks!

yea, that would be believable.
and his strengths? i honestly dont know. hes not a strong character... but his weaknesses are myriad: wishy-washy, hesitant, arrogant (at one point), and condescending, to name a few.

I only asked because I have a character info for I edited a bit, and 2 questions are Greatest Strength and Greatest Weakness. I take Weakness to mean the one flaw the character needs to overcome. The fatal flaw that can mess up their lives and any good thing they have.
For example, my wolf OC Zephyr. His greatest strength is loyalty, and his weakness is overprotectiveness. He has killed to protect those he loves, even when it wasn't needed.
I have no idea what Kovu's would be. But his lack of real confidence would be a big one.

Now if I can just get some Kimba info I can finish TLKTJE.
Oh, and do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader? It lets you read .pdf files and that's what I made to post on dA.
